Due to its amp-like circuit design, Shelby Mk2 responds really well to a boost in front of it. It also has plenty of volume on tap to boost the front of your amp.
What's New With The Mk2?
While the original Shelby had simple Volume, Distortion & Tone controls, the new Mk2 incorporates a much more flexible 3-band EQ, each with a wide frequency band.
Shelby Controls
Volume adjusts the output level of the pedal. There's plenty of volume on tap with the Shelby, allowing you to hit the front end of your amp really hard.
Distortion adjusts the amount of gain, from the Shelby's 3 gain stages. Go from crunch to full-bore valve amp tones dripping in harmonics and valve-like warmth.
Highs adjusts the treble frequency band.
Mids adjusts the mids frequency band.
Lows adjusts the bass frequency band.
