The white prickly poppy, also known as the bluestem prickly poppy or the Texas prickly poppy, is a small erect plant with a decorative white flower that contains yellow latex. The plant is deeply rooted with yellow or red stamens and known for its sharp prickles on its stems and leaves. As the flower grows more prominent, the sepals fall off. It typically grows in colonies in sandy or gravelly soils along fences, roadsides, railroad tracks, hills and slopes, and overgrazed pastures in the arid regions of the southern Midwest.

The plant has grayish-green, long leaves that are lanceolate to ovate and can range from 2 to 10 inches long. The lower leaves are lobed to the midrib, while the upper leaves are less so. The upper surface of the leaf is smooth, although it has a few prickles along the midrib, while the lower surface is spiny along the midrib and central vein. The flowers grow solitarily or in loose cymes at the top of the plant.

Native Americans have long revered this plant for its medicinal and other uses. The plant exudes yellow latex, which treats many ailments, including cold sores, skin problems, bladder infections, prostate pain, and migraines. The seeds can also be used as an emetic to induce vomiting, as a laxative, or even as a mild sedative. The entire plant can be used to help heal sunburns or scraped skin. The plant is also smoked during important ceremonies to induce a euphoric and mild sedating effect. However, if not used properly, the plant can be very toxic.

The Aztec priests would use the plant in sacrificial rituals, while the Comanches would make offerings to it during harvesting as they held the plant in high regard. The latex was used to remove warts, and treat cold sores and other skin problems. A concoction made from the flower could treat congestion from the cold or the flu.

Cute
Color: Fox-Crocodile
I love the interactive toys, BUT my dogs are either too destructive or smart because they’ve ripped the little treat part, so I can’t hide stuff in there anymore. Otherwise, they still play tug of war with it. Probably better for smaller or lazy dogs.

Strong hold

Very good product. I’m definitely impressed. I have two German shepherds and this toy is definitely durable and does what it’s made to do. The suction is great. The company even gives you a clear plastic strip that you can actually put on the floor and then put the suction cup on it For better grip. I’ve had suction toys before which was absolutely horrible. This one definitely supersedes all others. The suction comes off once in a while but usually that’s because if my dogs are literally biting on the suction cup part lol. But with confidence. Great product

Base of you is very durable
Color: Blue
Overall this is a fun toy. My German Shepherd loves it. The ropes were chewed off within the first hour which was disappointing. Using it for treats did not work because the opening is so large. It has become only a chew toy and it is very durable. Since I bought this to enjoy the extra features, I am disappointed. I was able to buy three chew only toys for the same price. I still give it four stars because my dog likes it so much.

The dog will destroy the ropes and eat them be careful with this
Color: Blue
The rubber part is very durable but the strings or ropes are not. Puppy is eating the strings and having a hard time pooping them out. Just cut them off close to the knots and watch for them to eat the strings they pull off.
