Growing tips:
Cold germinator. Sowing should initially take place for 2–4 weeks at temperatures of approximately 18–22 °C and should be kept well moist. A subsequent cold period of 4–6 weeks at -4 to +4 °C is required to promote germination. After this period, the temperature should remain at 5–12 °C until germination is complete.
Geranium pratense thrives best in well-drained, humus-rich soils in sunny to partially shaded locations. After flowering, it's recommended to prune the plant to encourage compact growth and possibly rebloom. The perennial is hardy and requires no additional protection.
