DESCRIPTION: This plant, which is named after Tillandsia Researchers Renate and Klaus Ehlers, is one of our all time favorites here at Air Plant Hub. As you can see in the photo, these can get to be a massive size. Ehlersiana is a very hardy plant and easy to grow. When watering Ehlersiana, do not soak it, instead spray it with water or give it quick dunks in water until full saturated. This will help to ensure that no water gets trapped in the base of the plant. These can be found naturally in Mexico, where they grow in semi-arid areas of Chiapas. Ehlersiana like good amounts of indirect light and good air flow.

You may want to test this stuff on a small area first before slathering it on. I had a bit of sunburn on my face and after showering, applied the gel and it worked great! Then.....contact dermatitis. My whole face blew up in a rash. Unfortunately, this didn't happen until the second day and I had already used the gel on my arms and legs as well. My face has cleared up, but the rest of me looks like I rolled around in poison ivy. I want to scratch my skin off. Pics don't do it justice. This is day 4 of the rash breaking out, so it's cleared up a little and I plan to borderline OD on benadryl this evening before I scratch my skin off. I wish I wasn't allergic, because it truly did work for my sunburn. I've not peeled at all and I was rather crispy.
